The other week the Environment and Sustainability Class got a tour of Miller Farm and had the opportunity to do some work with us. We asked Kobi Eng '21 what he enjoyed about the farm and he said "The high tunnel is definitely the coolest part. I love the simplicity of it. Its made out of pretty simple materials but it's a whole other environment in there that makes growing crops easier than the average garden." Kobi and other students from his class spent the afternoon spreading wood chips on a newly plowed path that leads from the barn to the rest of the garden. The class took a tour of the farm and learned the ins and outs of what it means to maintain such a beautiful piece of land. Always a success day when we can incorporate as many members of our community into the farm.
